Here is a little video clip of Josh playing the bagpipes a couple of weeks ago. He hasn't pulled them out in a couple of years so it was fun to see him play them again. The dogs weren't sure what was going on and they started howling in the background. (I'm sure the neighbors wondered what was going on too, lol)
My sister-in-law Bethany asked me to make her an apron for her wedding luncheon to wear over her dress. I kept putting off making it because I wasn't sure what I was going to do or how I wanted it to look. I spent a lot of time wandering around the fabric section of JoAnns trying to find something that would work with her wedding colors, that would also be pretty. I finally found some stuff that I thought would work and I put myself to work on it.
I was very pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. I was a little nervous at times because I didn't have a pattern, but in the end I got what I wanted.
We were able to go to Albuquerque for a couple of days for Josh's little sister's wedding. For some reason I didn't take any pictures of that! Hopefully we will get to see the professional ones soon though!
During the reception Presley was having a great time dancing and running around!
Here are a couple of short videos of her dancing.....
After all of the wedding festivities, Josh and I (& Presley) took a little vacation to Santa Fe New Mexico. During a golf tournament last year Josh had won a stay at this really nice resort so we obviously had to take advantage of it. We were very impressed by the place and had a good time together. Presley loved swimming in the indoor pool, even though it was still pretty chilly water.
We also ate at the yummy buffet a couple of times, and Presley LOVED that too!
She ate so much food, and before we could even give her a cookie she was laying her head on the table groaning, lol. It was super cute!
(sadly I didn't get any pictures with my big valentine)
I love this Kid!!! ♥

Presley and I made a trip to Joanns for some fabric for baby blankets. While there I found this little wind up chick while we were waiting in the checkout line. I thought it was so cute, and so did Presley! Let me tell you, that was possibly the best $1 I've ever spent.
It's so cute to see Presley's reaction to it hopping around on the floor. She loves it!
Someone has turned into a little diva already! She baffles me sometimes with the things that she does. I know she didn't learn them from me, so it's got to just be a part of her personality. She is a funny little girl and loves to entertain. She also has a an additude and can do fake crying and angry fits really well. She is so much fun though and I love being able to spend my days with her!
Sometimes she can be the sweetest little thing too. She will sneak up behind me and hug my back, or try to tickle me. I love it when she comes over to me and puts her arms out and says "Mama!". She give me some good snuggles now too!
At church she has become very VERY difficult to keep happy. We would spend most of the time out in the hallways. So finally one sunday I decided we would go visit the nursery. They let her stay in there and play since she was only a couple of weeks from being 18 months. She loved being in there and didn't care one bit when I left. (I was kind of sad because I always hear how kids are sad and don't want their parents to leave them, lol) She has loved it 2 weeks in a row now, so we will see if it continues.
Of course we have to throw in another picture of Bunny! This thing goes everywhere and has to get washed quite frequently now. Presley loves her so much!
